On the Mass Shooting in Uvalde, Texas

Words are pointless in the face of such meaningless death. It’s like screaming into the void. People say things will change. That’s what we always say though… and then time goes on. The images that we claim shocked us lose their potency. We forget. We claim not to… humanity lies in learning from mistakes… living in societies and hopefully, through a collective drive to bring light into existence and preserve it. So when someone chooses acts of terror and violence as their purview… what then? How do we put an end to such madness? I don’t know the answer, but I wish I did.
